A Farm is:
a park,
a campground,
the zoo,
In a garden,
on a gravel drive,
a retreat center,
a pilgrimage site,
a nature preserve,
in the country and in a (little) city;
a playground,
by a fishin’ hole,
among the wild flowers,
bordered by crops…
with the smell of manure
the sounds of the creek and
the view of the sunset;
a machine shop,
a construction site
a butcher shop,
a bakery, and a
marketplace;
surrounded by deer, birds, fish, bugs and butterflies;
a place where babies are born
and kittens are buried…
Thank the Good Lord, our HOME is a FARM! |
