Special thanks to Tiffani Beckman from Backyard CSA in Sonoma, CA for sharing her recipe for Baked Apples

Take 1 baking apple (per person) and core it, leaving the bottom intact.

Sprinkle in the hole: 1-2 teaspoons brown sugar and 1/4-1/2 tsp cinnamon. Optional add nutmeg and allspice too.

Then fill the hole with your favorite JoshEWEa's Garden cereal - our favorite is Pecan Pumpkin Pie. Really cram that cereal in there (it will be your favorite part in the apple) but don't break the sides of the apple.

Top the hole with a thick pat of butter and bake on the bottom shelf of the oven at 400 until fork tender.

Optional drizzle homemade caramel sauce (boil together brown sugar, butter and cream.

Let boil for 5-10 minutes, then reduce to warm, serve warm.), real whipped cream, homemade ice cream, etc. So decadent, easy and good! Gluten-free!
